Update: Honam has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

It was so sad that this beautiful poodle was dumped by his owner 2 months ago in Korea.

One day Chungsol, a Buddhist nun, discovered Honam in a cage dumped in front of her shelter. There are over 100 dogs at the shelter and Honam was not happy there. He was probably very confused and depressed. For over a month, Honam was very sad (you can see his tear marks). He, however, is a wonderful dog; very playful, friendly and sweet to people including children and also gets along well with other dogs. But we know that Honam will be much happier if he finds his forever home.

Honam is currently at a foster home in Vancouver. Anyone living inVancouver or Toronto (GTA) can apply.

This is what his foster said about him.

“Honam is very friendly, energetic and quickly adapted to his new surroundings. He enjoys walks outside, playing with his toy, and running around the apartment. He likes human companionship to keep him entertained (and use up some of his puppy energy). It seems he would best be suited for an active family since he has a lot of energy.
Honam seems to have quickly developed a bond with Carmen and has minor separation anxiety (whimpers a little) when she leaves to take out the garage or go to work.
Honam is quiet, well behaved and does not bark at all – even when people walk in the hallway, knock at the door, or when we use the hair dryer and set alarm clocks etc.”
