Update: Dodo has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

Note: Dodo is currently with her foster family in Vancouver.

Dodo was rescued from a high kill shelter in Gyeonggi-do, Korea last year. She lived with other dogs at our partner boarding house until she left Korea. She currently is with a foster in Vancouver where she lives with another male Jindo who is a FKD alumnus.

Dodo is well socialized with other dogs and has never had any issues with any of her shelter mates. She is quite well balanced and will ignore dogs if they are being reactive towards her. She will sometimes let other dogs know if they are being too high energy around her or too close to comfort, but always in a normal and healthy way.

With humans, she is a little bit shy in the beginning but will warm up after a few days of getting acquainted. When given the time to open up she becomes very sweet and friendly. She has a quiet, gentle, submissive and loving personality. Dodo’s trust of strangers currently comes from following the lead of her foster brother, who shows her the ropes. She is more of a follower than a leader.

Dodo’s ideal home is one with a relaxed, quiet environment: a secure yard will be a bonus. She would do well with another friendly canine sibling.
