Update: Bia has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

Bia was rescued on the streets in Paju, Korea. Since then she has been living with a foster family in Korea.

Although shy in the beginning, Bia has opened up to her foster slowly but surely. She has begun to take treats from them, which is a good sign of trust. Although tentative, she is curious and interested in meeting new people. She has met a few of her neighbors, and while she was shy at first she now wags her tail when she sees them.

Bia has a gentle, quiet, and submissive personality. When she is unsure or scared, she sits down. While this shows her submissive nature, it is also her way of communicating she is overwhelmed, and in a way is shutting down to cope. She would benefit from a family who is experienced with dogs and able to advocate for her as she gains new experiences. Someone working from home or retired would be great since she doesn’t like to be left alone.
