Many of our volunteers attended Fight Dog Meat‘s rally on May 19 and May 20 in New York.
Stationed in Columbus Circle, the rally’s location was perfect for catching the attention of tourists and local New Yorkers. We teamed up with dozens of animal activists around the tri-state area for this two-day public awareness event. Several survivors from the dog meat trade and other rescue dogs even came to show support. The stark contrast between the dog meat survivors present at the event and the dogs suffering in the rally signs brought realness to the situation.
We would like to thank the Fight Dog Meat team for setting up this event to spread awareness worldwide. We will continue to raise our voices for the voiceless in the dog and cat meat trade. Thank you.
