Korean Rescue Dogs Land in Winnipeg

Korean Rescue Dogs Land in Winnipeg

October 26, 2016 by Greg Mount 3 Comments

Two of our lucky rescues landed safely yesterday in Winnipeg, Canada. They received a warm welcome and were even featured on local television news.

DoldolThank you so much to Doris, Michel and Tracey for helping out these wonderful pups. The two rescues, Doldol and Shida, can now begin their new life in Canada. Despite the cold Winnipeg winter, we think these pooches will stay warm with lots of love from the wonderful people in Winnipeg.

Local television news station CTV Winnipeg was on hand to film their arrival.

This was a long and exhausting trip for the two pups, but they were in great spirits when they landed at Richardson International Airport in Winnipeg. Any concerns about the new environment were forgotten after a quick trip to the local pet supply to pick up toys and tasty snacks.

Winnipeg Ambassadors

Welcome to your new life, Doldol and Shida. You are now ambassadors for your brothers and sisters back home in Korea.

Doldol and Shida made it to safety, but literally millions of dogs are still trapped in hell. We can only rescue so many dogs. Public awareness is the key to permanently ending the dog meat trade. Share the story of Doldol and Shida so we can end the suffering and build a better future for the dogs of Korea. Help spread the word and together we will end the Korean dog meat trade.

It’s heartbreaking when you see the pictures of dogs over in Korea, I hope that the people over there see sense and stop slaughtering these precious dogs…..
