Help Us Find a Good Home for Chook-bok

December 20, 2017 by EK Park, Executive Director 1 Comment

Chook-bok was rescued from the streets last June, in Paju Korea. She was found on the streets bleeding; she was hit by a car and dumped.

Chook-bok was moved to an animal hospital immedeatly but she had pelvic fracture. After several weeks of hospitalization, her wound got healed and she became healthy. But still her neck is a little bit tilted. She has no pain. It is the aftermath of the car accident.

Chook-bok loves to play soccer. As you can see in the videos below, she is so talented. We don’t know any dogs who plays soccer better than Chook-bok. When she runs and plays, she is most happy. Chook-bok is very kind to her friends and also very gentle and sweet. She is a happy virus who makes everyone smile.

The name “Chook-bok” means blessing in Korean. We wish that Chook-bok’s life is filled with blessing and joy and no more suffering and loneliness.

Chook-Bok is beautiful. Thank you to all involved in her care. Looking at the pics of her injured, made me cry for her, but now she looks amazing. How can anyone hit a dog whilst driving and just leave it in the road?!!!
As soon as I saw her little sweet face, I immediately wanted to adopt, but I have just recently adopted, in Aug 2017. ‘Dami’ a (from a Korean meat farm) I also have another rescue Korean Jindo dog although he was rescued from within the UK. I live in the UK.
Two of the 3 best things that ever happened to me were gaining 2 Korean Jindo dogs. They are so friendly, intelligent, loving and adorable. They make wonderful pets. I absolutely adore them.
I am not against all other breeds, and would happily adopt all rescue dogs (and cats) if I could afford to and had the space.
I hope Chook-Bok eventually fully recovers, and gains a new loving, caring, and happy forever home.
She is gorgeous, and deserves so much love and happiness. Please may she go to a good home xx
