Help Dog Meat Trade Survivors

January 15, 2019 by EK Park, Executive Director 3 Comments

On September 1st, 2018, Free Korean Dogs (FKD) rescued 69 dogs from Dangjin Dog Meat Farm (DMF) in Korea.

FKD Founder, EK Park and numerous volunteers rolled up their sleeves & carefully placed each dog into its travel kennel for ground transport to our partner shelters. As EK started counting down to the last few dogs loaded to the truck, she realized “The Hard Work Starts Now”.   Demolition crew arrived the next day – bulldozing of this DMF marked a new journey not only for the 69 dogs but for FKD as well.  Our partners & volunteers in Korea are doing the hard work daily.  Here in Canada – we need your help:

  1. Every dollar matters – we are NOWHERE near our fundraising goal.
  2. We need your help to share & advocate our FKD Fund Raising Page.
  3. Help us look for Flight Volunteers.  Many of the dogs saved from the DMF are ready to come to Canada & meet their forever homes – be part of a life changing story.
  4. We need Foster Homes in Canada!  Fostering a Korean Rescue Dog is rewarding – are you up for the challenge?

Contact us through our official website, Facebook Messenger & Instagram.  Let’s talk about how YOU can help end the Korean Dog Meat Trade industry today.

Please help save, adopt, care for all innocent dogs being massacred in the South Korean Dog Meat Trade! Is rampant and horrific suffering to these innocent angels.

Thank you so much for your dedication!! I know it is one of Korean tradition to make such a horrible soup for health, but dogs are the best companions for people, and needs to stop killing, abusing, eating the most beautiful gift from god.
