Help 55 Adorable Dogs Find Their Forever Homes

November 18, 2017 by EK Park, Executive Director Leave a Comment

Imagine there are 55 adorable and adoptable pups in a shelter in South Korea being taken care for and looked after with love and dedication. Now imagine that this only haven for these dogs must be shut down within less than 2 months, and the pups are facing the uncertain fate. Some of them may need to go to another shelter that is likely already overcrowded and underfunded, and will be put down eventually since there is very little chance that they will be adopted in time. This is precisely what is happening right now.

Pet Mommy in a small town in South Korea has been in the forefront of rescuing and caring for abandoned local dogs to their adoption for a long time. However their facility has been order to close down by the year end despite the fact that their contract for the space isn’t expired until next February. Their neighbors not only filed complaints to shut them down but even claimed for psychological damage around noise and are asking to be compensated monetarily.

Pet Mommy folks are desperate and crying out for help. There is less than 2 months now to do something for these dogs otherwise they have no choice but to watch them face their likely death. With all the possibilities in Korea exhausted, they hope to get them to North America. It’s an expensive option but it’s also the only one left. All they want is for these 55 angels to have a second chance in life and a shot at happiness.

These dogs are looking for your help. Anything you can do will be a step close to the miracle that they need so urgently right now. You can be a part of this by doing what you can among the following right now.
