What is a flight volunteer and how does it work?

A person taking a direct flight from Korea to Toronto, Canada can become a flight volunteer. Simply submit a flight volunteer application to provide your flight information to us. Then we will book the flight as soon as possible to ensure that the flight has enough space for the dog(s). Note: The amount of dogs you can bring depends on the airlines. For example, Korean airlines typically allow two dogs per passenger.

Our agent will meet you at the airport three hours before the flight departure to help with the entire process.

If your flight is in the morning, then the dog quarantine will happen on the day before the departure. Our volunteers can take care of this by themselves. If your flight is in the afternoon, then the dog quarantine will happen earlier on the same day.

The quarantine process is very simple. You go to the quarantine office with our volunteers. He/she will bring the health certificate and the dog(s). You have to bring your passport. The officer will check the documents and the dog(s) and give you a quarantine paper. It takes about 15 minutes. If your flight is in the morning, you don’t have to come to the office because we have to do a quarantine in the day before. All you have to do is to sign the authorization letter for quarantine that we prepare for you.

Lastly, you will need to check-in the dog(s) and our volunteers will take care of the process and cost. Overall, the process is much simpler than it sounds.
