We are so excited to host our first dog adoption event in Vancouver on July 7th from 5-8pm at Great Dane Coffee (UBC beside gate tower).

Please bring your family, friends, and anyone interested in adopting a dog or learning more about our adoption process. Everyone is welcome!

There will be five beautiful dogs; Tom, Blake, Martel, Mongdal, and Benjamin. They were rescued from a dog tonic shop that sells a drink made with dog meat and herbs in Korea. We are very excited to meet you at the event.

Why should I adopt a rescue dog from Korea?

First, it is important to understand that dogs play a complex role in Korean society. Two million dogs are raised in cages and brutally slaughtered for their meat. Some dogs in Korea have a luxurious lifestyle while others are tortured beyond most people’s imagination.

Even though the “meat” or “farmed” dogs in Korea are rescued, they rarely have a chance to be adopted due to the “stigma.” If we don’t rescue dogs from high kill shelters or from the streets or markets, they often end up in the dog meat farms/markets.

When dog rescuers see that rescue farmed dogs are adopted by a loving family, they will become more inspired and work harder to save these farmed dogs as well. You are adopting just one dog but the impact of your action will be huge.
