Get monthly updates about dogs like Solee and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Background: Solee was rescued from a manufacturing building in Paju, Korea, where she was roaming the streets in search of food. Since her rescue, she has been living in a private shelter surrounded by other dogs, where she has blossomed into the lovely girl she is today.

Personality and Socialization: Solee is an intelligent, obedient, and bright girl with a medium energy level. She is sweet and sociable, warming up to everyone she meets—men and women alike—even strangers! She is well-behaved and attentive to her humans, showing remarkable obedience. When given a gentle “no,” she immediately stops and looks to her person, as if asking for guidance. Solee also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, particularly friendly and submissive males, making her a joy to have around.

Behaviors: Solee’s smarts shine through in her behavior; she listens attentively to her humans and excels in the car. On leash walks, she is great, and when she’s out with nervous dogs, she takes it upon herself to check in on them and offer support. It’s truly impressive to witness! While she’s not a fan of baths or nail clipping—often wanting to run away when she sees the clippers—she’ll tolerate it when held by someone she trusts. Solee prefers outdoor potty breaks and is generally quiet indoors.

Health and Diet: Solee is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She receives monthly parasite prevention and hasn’t shown any signs of allergies. She eats dry kibble twice a day.

Ideal Home: Solee would thrive in most family environments, as she is eager to learn and please her humans. An ideal home would be one where someone can spend ample time with her, taking her on walks and enjoying outdoor activities. She could be perfectly happy as the only dog or even as a second dog if there’s a friendly male companion looking for a buddy.
