Get monthly updates about dogs like Lano 2 and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.
Background: Lano, a spitz and Jindo mix, was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, as part of the “Save 100 Dogs” project this spring. After spending some time in a private shelter, he recently joined our partner boarding house, where he lives happily with other dogs.
Personality and Socialization: Lano is a friendly and social boy with a medium energy level. While it may take him a few days to warm up to new people, he quickly becomes affectionate and sweet once he feels comfortable. He enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly small to medium-sized ones that are gentle and friendly. Lano would be an excellent choice for a family looking for a second dog, especially since he has formed a close bond with Nino, who was rescued from the same city pound.
Behaviors: Since his rescue, Lano has been pretty easy-going and chill. He enjoys playing with his toys or other dogs when he’s on his own. He is well-mannered during vet visits, baths and behaves well in the car. Though he has limited experience walking on a leash, he happily follows his people on walks. Lano is generally quiet and has been a good boy.
Ideal Home: Lano is a sweet and gentle boy who will thrive in a home with another friendly dog. As the only dog, with time, he will grow more comfortable and confident in his new environment. He would be a good fit for someone who works from home or is retired and is looking for a loving and gentle fur baby to share their life with.
