Background: At just 2 months old, Hyorim was found on the streets of Paju with her three siblings. Sadly, they were sent to a high-kill city pound, but their story took a turn for the better when they were rescued just in time. Hyorim soon moved in with a foster family, where she spent a little over a year learning how to live with humans in a loving home. Unfortunately, she’s been back at a private shelter for 9 months now, eagerly waiting for her forever family.
Personality and Socilaization: Hyorim may be a little shy around new people at first, but once she warms up, she transforms into a playful girl and charming companion. While she’s not be the most outwardly affectionate pup, her gentle and endearing personality will steal your heart over time. / She’s a calm girl with a mid-to-low energy level, content to rest peacefully at home until it’s time for her walk.
She’s dog-friendly and well-mannered, thanks to her time living with two resident dogs in her foster home. While she’s not a fan of overly rough play, she enjoys canine companionship. / Not tested with cats or kids.
Behaviour: During walks, she can be a mix of nervous and excited, so she’ll need a patient adopter to help her explore the world at her own pace. / When it comes to car rides, though, she’s a total pro – calm and relaxed. As a clean dog, Hyorim is house-trained and will sometimes uses pee-pads indoors, making her an easy addition to any home. / She tolerates most of grooming very well. She’s a happy eater who enjoys all kinds of treats and meals! Also loves playing with plush toys. / Not too fond of being held by people she doesn’t trust yet.
Health and Diet: Hyorim is in good health; fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She maintains a healthy appetite with regular dog kibble and has no known allergies or sensitivities.
Ideal Home: Hyorim’s perfect home would be with someone experienced with rescue or shy dogs who understands that building trust takes time. She needs a patient and confident person who can guide her with kindness and understanding. A quiet home in a calm neighborhood would be best for her.
