Background: Hemosu was rescued from a neglectful pet shop owner who kept him and seven other dogs in a small, dark room with no sunlight or proper care. When the shop was closing, we convinced the owner to surrender the dogs. Since then, Hemosu has been living at our partner boarding house, where he’s made friends and patiently waited for his chance at a forever home. Five of his friends from the same petshop have already found loving families in Canada – now it’s his turn.
Personality and Socialization: Hemosu is a sweet and gentle boy with a heart full of love. He adores cuddles and warms up quickly to people. He is not shy around strangers and is generally calm and friendly. Once he gets to know someone, he shows his affectionate side and loves all people. He has a medium energy level and gets along great with dogs of all sizes—big or small. Hemosu is easygoing and playful with other dogs. He has not been around cats or young children.
Behaviors: Hemosu is quiet and well-mannered, showing no signs of separation anxiety or destructive behavior. His gentle nature shines through in every situation—he’s easygoing during vet visits, car rides, and even baths. Hemosu walks nicely on a leash and is a quick learner. He’s smart, eager to please, and responds well to gentle guidance, avoiding behaviors his humans don’t approve of.
Health and Diet: Hemosu is in good health. He’s been fully vetted, is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm-free, neutered, and microchipped. He shows no signs of allergies and enjoys his dry kibble meals twice a day. For his ongoing care, he’s on a monthly internal and external parasite prevention regimen.
Ideal Home: Hemosu is searching for a loving home where he can truly thrive. He especially loves spending time with his humans, so a home where someone is around most of the day would be ideal. Hemosu is gentle, loyal, and affectionate. He’s ready to leave his past behind and embrace a future filled with love, comfort, and happiness. In return, he’ll bring endless joy and unconditional love to the lucky family who adopts him.
