Background: Banana was rescued early this year from a city pound in Yangsan, Korea. After spending time at another shelter, she joined our partner boarding house this summer, where she has been living harmoniously with other dogs.
Personality and Socialization: Banana is a gentle, quiet, and affectionate dog with a moderate energy level. She’s sociable and friendly with everyone, including men, and loves to snuggle and sit on laps for attention and petting. Banana is good with other dogs, especially gentle ones her size, and is fine with seniors. She lived with cats and was indifferent to them. Her favorite activity is spending time with people; she is truly a people’s dog, mellow and sweet.
Behaviors: Banana enjoys being around people but is also comfortable with some alone time. She is quiet indoors, not destructive, and uses indoor pee pads. She is good in the car and during bath times. Banana loves walks but gets nervous at the vet, though she allows handling.
Health and Diet: Banana is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She receives monthly parasite prevention and hasn’t shown any signs of allergies. She eats dry kibble twice a day.
Ideal Home: Banana’s ideal family has a relaxed lifestyle and plenty of time to spend with their dog. She’s good for first-time dog parents or anyone seeking a gentle, calm companion. She especially thrives with those who work from home or are retired, as she loves spending time with her humans.
