Aengdoo

Background: Aengdoo is a gentle, quiet girl who was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, last December as part of our “Save 100 Dogs” mission. Since she was rescued, she has been living with other dogs at our partner boarding house.

Personality and Socialization: Aengdoo has a calm, easy-going nature with low to medium energy. She’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet, mature dog who enjoys both quiet time and gentle companionship. Aengdoo is affectionate with people, and always happy to stay close by for some gentle pets. Aengdoo gets along well with small to medium-sized, mellow dogs like her but isn’t fond of hyper, bossy dogs.

Behaviour: Aengdoo is well-mannered and adapts easily to new situations. She handles vet visits, baths, and car rides with ease. Though she’s still learning leash walking, she does well, especially when walking with a calm companion. At home, Aengdoo is quiet and rarely barks. She loves finding cozy spots to relax, often observing her surroundings peacefully. When people are around, she gently approaches them, sitting close to enjoying soft cuddles.

Health and Diet: Aengdoo has completed all her veterinary checkups and is in great health. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She had anaplasmosis when rescued, but she has fully recovered and is now healthy. She has tested negative for heartworm and other parasites and takes monthly preventatives to stay healthy. Aengdoo eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Aengdoo is a gentle, easy-going girl who would do well in most homes. She would thrive with someone who has time to spend with her, whether you’re a first-time dog parent, a senior looking for a mellow companion, or anyone who wants a loving, low-maintenance friend. Aengdoo will be happiest in a calm, quiet environment where she can enjoy the simple pleasures of companionship and comfort.
