In March of 2017 I lost my best friend Dudley to lymphoma. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I also lost both my parents at age 60 and the only companion I had left was Dud who I had for almost 15 years. For a while, I struggled with the idea …Read More about A thank you note about Rick
This past summer, my girlfriend, Jae and I came across FreeKoreanDogs through recommendation from a friend. After mere minutes of browsing, it became apparent that our dogless days were numbered. We were so enamoured by all of the sweet faces of FKD.
It has now been a little over a year since we got Tokki. Like most rescues (and people for that matter) he has good days and bad days.

Isu is a giant loving teddy bear who smiles at everyone he sees. He is doing well and is learning how …Read More about The smiling teddy bear

On Sept 1st Free Korean Dogs rescued 69 dogs from the Dangjin Meat Farm. After the dogs were removed and sent to various shelters, the Korean activists and volunteers stood by and watched as the Dangjin Meat Farm was bulldozed. Although the demolition was cathartic, and an apt representation of the collapsing of the dog …Read More about The Hard Work Starts Now!
