Sharon was rescued from an abusive owner who raised dogs for meat. Sharon and her siblings were kept in a chicken cage; indeed they were tide to a pole under chicken cage; no food or water was given so they had to survive with chicken feces. The most difficult thing for Sharon was probably to see her siblings being slaughtered in front of her. Luckily, she was rescued last summer (she was around 8 month-old at that time). As you can see in the last video, she was terrified around people even after being rescued.

It took a while for Sharon to get comfortable. Now She is doing good around people that she knows. She is still a little bit shy around strangers, but she has made a big progress over the last 8 months.

The ideal home would be someone with a lot of spare time (working from home or retired would be ideal); also who can continue to work on building her confidence; having a gentle and friendly dog around would be very helpful for Sharon.

She is with foster in Toronto now.
