Koma was rescued from Aerinwon, private shelter in Pocheon, Korea. Since then he has been living with a foster family.

When he first arrived in his foster home, Koma was very shy and scared. However, after 5 months of socialization training he has come leaps and bounds – we see more trust and confidence with every passing day.

Although he can still be shy with strangers, Koma loves physical attention from those he has warmed up to. He has a very sweet and social personality with his humans. He loves being petted, stroked, brushed, and offering his belly for rubs. He also loves going for walks and has not shown any fearfulness towards men and likes them quite well.

However, Koma still gets startled easily by sudden movements and noises. While he generally does well with other dogs, he is scared of larger and/or higher energy dogs. Koma matches best with dogs with quiet and gentle personalities. He currently does not show signs of separation anxiety or is vocal with his foster.

This sweet boy’s ideal home is with someone who has experience with shy dogs and knows how to advocate for his fears. He will require patience, time, and understanding to overcome his fears. He would do best in a quiet neighborhood with humans who have the time to spend with him, as that is his favorite thing.

The adoption fee for Koma is $460 CAD ($360 USD).
