*NOTE: Free Korean Dogs is continuing to process applications for our adoptable dogs. However, recent flight restrictions beyond our control have hindered our ability to transport our dogs from Korea until June 2020 (or it may take longer) due to COVID-19. If this is a time line you are able to work with, please submit your application. If you meet our criteria, we will contact you for an interview.

Gangsuk was one of the six puppies rescued from the streets in a small village in Paju, Korea last year. They were sent to a local shelter and one by one the four puppies found their homes. Gangsuk and his sister, Dina, are still at the shelter waiting for their forever homes.

Gangsuk is very playful and energetic; he is great with his sister Dina but he becomes easily dominant and bossy when playing with other dogs. It would be best if he is the only dog in the house.

Gagsuk is not fully leash-trained; he becomes very nervous outside the shelter. Also, he is skittish around stranger but he is very food motivated. It doesn’t take a long time for him to open up to people if they have treats.

The ideal adopter is someone who has experience with a med-large dog with high energy and knows how to train and communicate with a dog like Gangsuk. He won’t be good for a first time dog owner or someone who is looking for an easy-going dog. Also, it will be better for him to live in a house in a quiet neighborhood.
