Tae-yang and his mother were found abandoned and abused in the streets of South Gyeongsang-do, Korea. His name, Tae-yang, means “sun” in Korean, which is very fitting because he’s bound to brighten your life.

This charismatic dog may appear aloof at first blush, but he’s sweet and affectionate once he warms up to you. Absolutely adores giving morning kisses and twirling for food! He’ll make a wonderful addition to your family if you want a dog who’ll enjoy lounging around with you. Plus, his lovely underbite is too cute for words!

Tae-yang needs an experienced/patient companion to help ease his anxiety so he can walk confidently outside and release his pent up energy. He gets anxious in new surroundings and is easily frightened by trucks, honking cars, crowds of people, and sudden movements. Taeyang is also sensitive to loud sounds, so he prefers to live in a quiet home. He’s housetrained (does his business outside) and friendly with other dogs.
