Update: Sunny has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Sunny was rescued from an abusive owner in Korea. She was kept in the basement with other dogs and was often beaten. Finally, the owner decided to sell the dogs to a dog market. Sunny was rescued before being sold by a local animal rights activist. Currently, she is living with foster. When she was rescued she had horrible skin problems and suffered from malnutrition. But now she is healthy and happy and is ready for her forever home.

Sunny has made a big progress; now she loves to be around people and is very affectionate. However, she still gets scared of big noises and fast movements and certain gestures like raising hands or foot. She is usually shy around strangers for a couple of days/times, but after that she becomes sweet and affectionate.

Sunny is good with other dogs; small and big and also good with children. She is still nervous around new things; people and noises and etc, but is a very nice and gentle girl. She has a good personality and temperament.

The ideal home would be someone who works from home or retired. Having another friendly dog around and a relaxed lifestyle with patience would be great.
