*Note: Snowy is available for adoption in Vancouver.
One snowy day last winter, this handsome boy, Snowy, was rescued from a city pound. When staying at the pound, Snowy was popular; his friendly attitude and cute face attracted people’s attention. However, when it came to adoption, it was always his size (15kg/33lbs) causing people’s hesitancy. Unfortunately, most people preferred small dogs around 5kg and Snowy was seen to be too big for them. Well, we finally decided to bring him to Vancouver, Canada. Snowy is a perfect medium-sized handsome boy here.
Snowy is a very affectionate boy. He loves to be around people, preferring to stay close and follow you around. He has a sweet and friendly personality and makes a great companion to hang out with. Snowy gets along well with other dogs as long as they are gentle and friendly but is not a big fan of loud, bossy, or hyper dogs. Generally, he is indifferent to other dogs, preferring the company of people.
Snowy is also very smart and has picked up new concepts and new routines easily. He is house-trained and knows basic commands. While he does have some anxiety when left home alone or going out for a walk, he has already made a lot of progress with his training. Snowy doesn’t like loud motorcycles or when other dogs get too close to him on a walk. However, his foster/trainer in Korea was able to redirect him quickly and easily with the help of treats. He is very food motivated which helps in his training to help him form positive associations.
His ideal home is a household where people are home most of the time in a quiet neighborhood. Snowy would be happiest as the only dog in the household and gets all attention and love. Snowy is an adorable and sweet little love bug who is impossible not to fall in love with. His future family will be very lucky to gain him as a new family member.
DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
