Smile is a lucky dog who was rescued from a high kill shelter in 2019 in Korea. He has always been friendly and sweet to people, but when it comes to other dogs he can be quite selective.

Smile spent 1.5 year in training school to help him with his reactivity with other dogs and has recently graduated! He has made tremendous progress and has learned how to approach other dogs, and for most part ignores them most of the time.

Smile’s ideal home would be with an adult couple (1 or 2 person household) with no kids or other pets. It will be important for his family to be dedicated in continuing his training and provide him with a strong and consistent leadership as well as clear rules and boundaries.

His ideal family would also have experience with training, more specifically with reactive dogs and using slow introductions with other dogs. It is important to set him up for success and provide the proper environment for him to grow and thrive. Also, he will need a house (not a condo/apt) with a fenced in-backyard in a quiet suburban neighborhood.

Smile lives in a dog boarding house with other dogs in Korea.
