Update: Samsoon has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

*Note: Currently, Samsoon is in foster care in Vancouver.

Samsoon was one of the 101 dogs who were rescued from the Siheung dog meat farm in Korea in May alongside her siblings when they were still young puppies. After being rescued, they were moved to our partner boarding house where they lived with other dogs.

Samsoon is very playful and social with the other dogs at the boarding house. She is quite balanced and respectful when playing and engaging with other canines. With humans, she is more timid and needs a little more time to warm up. But once she does she starts to crave attention and becomes very sweet and affectionate after becoming familiar. The boarding house manager has reported she is much like her sibling – with a quiet personality who listens well.

Her ideal home is one that is living a relaxed lifestyle, in a quiet area, preferably in a house with a secure yard. Samsoon is still young and grew up in a rural setting, so she is still learning about  the”outside” world. Her adopter should also be committed to continuing her socialization with humans and other dogs. Having another friendly dog in the home whom she can play with and mirror is preferred.
