The adopter MUST be a female only family!

This handsome little fellow was rescued from a hoarding situation in 2014. He then spent 6 years in a shelter in Korea with no interest in being adopted. He finally flew to Canada in early February to find his forever family. He currently lives with a foster in Thornhill, Ontario (GTA).

Sam might be little, but he has a huge heart. In fact, with a little bit of time and patience he will give you his whole heart. His life hasn’t been easy. Staying in a busy shelter meant he couldn’t receive all the love and attention he craved. When he arrived in Canada with his first foster, he lived with another easy going dog who he loved. However, he isn’t a fan of big and/or dominant, bossy dogs.

Among his favorite things is to sit on people’s laps, receive pets and cuddles, and play with his ball. He is very submissive and obedient with those he trusts, allowing his foster mom to clean his ears. He also likes walks, does well in car rides, and is fully house trained.

Sam loves his people so much he can be protective of them with strangers (barking, but no aggression). He is truly completely devoted to his humans, but with time, will eventually learn there is no threat to anyone taking him away. Sam also has a deep fear of men. who make him very nervous. As a result, he will require a home with a female only presence.

His ideal home is one that is female only (required), with a relaxed, quiet lifestyle and someone who has lots of time to spend with him. Sam would be an amazing companion for someone who works from home or is retired.

The adoption fee for Sam is $280 (including tax).

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
