Update: Salgoo has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

Salgoo was found on the streets this summer in a small village in Paju, Korea. Since then she has been living with a foster family.

Salgoo is still timid around strangers, but with people that she knows, she is sweet. Salgoo is sensitive and gets startled by loud noises or unfamiliar objects. The foster hasn’t been able to take her out for a walk yet because Salgoo gets very nervous. She will benefit from having another fur companion and also someone with experience. Despite being skittish, she never reacts in an aggressive manner. She has always been a sweet and gentle girl.

Her ideal adopter is one having experience with dogs like Salgoo and lives a relaxed lifestyle in a quiet home. We would prefer her to have a house with a secure yard, as she is still young and is still learning about the outside world. Her adopter should be committed to continuing her socialization with people and other dogs. Having another friendly dog in the home for Salgoo to play with and to mirror would be very ideal.

She is a spitz and Jindo mix. Salgoo means “apricot” in Korean.
