Note: Rooki arrives in Vancouver on Feb. 26, 2022.

Rooki was rescued from a highkill shelter in Gapyung, Korea last year. Since then he has been living in a boarding house.

Rooki loves to be around people. He likes to follow the boarding house staff and volunteers and hang out with them. He is obedient, sweet and very affectionate.

When it comes to other dogs, Rooki is selective. He is fine with gentle, calm, and quiet dogs who are indifferent in other dogs. But Rooki is most happy when he is with his humans as the only dog.

The ideal forever home is with a family who has experience with dogs and has no other pets in the home, as he likes to be the prince. He would prefer a calm and relaxed home in a quiet neighborhood. Someone retired or working from home will be ideal. Rooki is such a love bug. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky.
