Our regular method of transporting dogs using flight volunteers has drastically decreased due to current flight/travel restrictions. An alternative, quicker option of flying via cargo can be made available, although at a greater financial cost. The cost can range from $1000 CAD to $2600 CAD depending on the size and weight of the dog, airline, and destination city. Dogs traveling via cargo will be able to arrive sooner as they are not dependent on travelers to bring them.

Rimbaud was rescued from a highkill shelter in Pyungtaek city, Korea. Since then he has been living with a foster family.

It took three days for Rimbaud to open up towards the foster family. Now he is a very affectionate and sweet dog.

Rimbaud is house-trained; quiet (doesn’t bark indoor), very obedient, smart (fast learner), calm and friendly. But he is still a little bit scared of going outside at night especially when a stranger (male) comes close to him. Also he is still not very confident around other dogs. Most times, he is not sure what to do and is shy. Recently, he has made some furry friends: Rimbaud is ok with gentle and friendly dogs, but will be scared of hyper or bossy dogs.

The best family for Rimbaud would be someone who has no pets (easier to start with) but has experiences with dogs. A couple or a small family working from home or retired would be great.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
