Update: Peperoni has found a forever home in New York. Yay!
Peperoni is one of the puppies rescued in Jeju Island, Korea a few weeks ago. The dog owner got sick and was not able to keep the dogs. So he tried to sell them to a dog meat seller. Someone living in Jeju contacted us and asked for help and that was how Peperoni’s family got rescued. But it wasn’t the end of the story. Jeju Island is far from where our current shelter is located. We had to find a way to bring the dogs to Ilsan, north west of Seoul. Thankfully, Changyui Hong, volunteer truck driver, transported them to Incheon. It was two days of a long drive.
Peperoni is a very affectionate puppy. She loves attention and snuggles.
