Get monthly updates about dogs like Osung and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Osung, a remarkable survivor, was among the fortunate 101 dogs rescued from the Siheung dog meat farm in Korea back in May. These dogs, including Osung, found solace and companionship at our partner boarding house, where they had the opportunity to grow and thrive alongside their fellow canines.

Having grown up and been around other dogs his whole life, Osung does well with other dogs and is friendly and social. He is a little bit shy around strangers, but after getting to know you, he is a very sweet boy that enjoys attention.

Currently, Osung is undergoing leash training to familiarize himself with this new experience. Although he still harbors some fear when it comes to wearing a leash and venturing outside, he is working on overcoming this hurdle.

An ideal adopter for Osung would be someone who resides in a serene neighborhood and shares their home with another friendly dog. A quiet environment and a secure yard would be preferable, as Osung is still young and in the process of acclimating to the outside world. The adopter should be dedicated to continuing Osung’s socialization with both humans and other dogs, ensuring that he continues to thrive and grow. Furthermore, a household with another amiable dog for Osung to engage in playtime would be highly beneficial and enhance his overall well-being.

Osung is available for adoption. The fee to adopt Osung is $780.
