Note: Lamma will arrive in Vancouver on September 16, 2021.

Lamma was rescued from a high kill shelter before being euthanized. Since then she has been with a foster in Korea, where she lives with other dogs.

Lamma is a typical “lap dog” who is always friendly and sweet, and wants to stay close to people to snuggle. She is good with other dogs, but is mostly indifferent to them. She much prefers the company of people.

One thing Lamma is working on is sharing. She can become possessive with her prized possessions such as her bone, and will let you know “please do not touch that. It is mine”. She will require someone who will respect her boundaries, but also teach her the polite way to respond to such situations.

She enjoys her walks and being outside. She is also pee-pad trained, and her foster has noted she is very well behaved indoors, with a quiet personality.

Lamma would do best with someone who has experience with dogs, living a quiet and relaxed lifestyle. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home, so that she can have undivided attention. A home where someone is retired, working from home, or opposite schedules, where one person can be home with her would be her best situation. All Lamma wants in life is people to spend quality time with her, going for leisurely walks, and living a relaxed life.

The adoption fee for Lamma is $460 CAD.
