Kong is one of 150 Korean rescue dogs that Ms. Jung takes care of. Kong and his two siblings were dumped on the Chungdo shelter by a foreign worker last fall in Korea.

Kong is in Toronto now and looking for her forever home. Lucia, Kong’s foster parent, said,

“She is a beautiful sweet dog,  very playful and funny. Very, very gentle and does not bite at children or adults. She does slightly snarl at new dogs who comes into her home/space and she will bark at a big dog in the park if they keep after her. She likes her space. I have taken her to the dog park a few times and she likes to stay close to her owner as opposed to other dogs. If dogs or cats leave her alone then she is fine. She gets along with Songyi very well as they are used to each other and I imagine this would happen with any other home dog over time. She just needs time to get used to things. She walks very well on the leash. She has a huge appetite for a little dog. She likes to cuddle.  She is also tiny and fragile so it would not be good to have in her home with kids who are not gentle with her little legs and frame. They have to be mindful that she can break easily. I will really miss her when she goes. She makes me laugh a lot.”
