Update: Keddol has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!
*Note: Keddol is currently with a foster family in New Westminster, BC.
Keddol was rescued from a highkill shelter in Youngyang, Korea last winter. After being rescued he lived with a foster family in Korea with another friendly dog. He has since flown to Canada in search of his forever home in New Westminster, BC, where he lives with 2 other dogs.
Keddol is a very submissive and friendly boy. He will take treats from his foster’s hands very gently and has no problem being handled. His foster is able to pet him on all areas, pick him up, and put on his leash and harness with issue. Keddol walks well on leash, but walks more confidently when with other dogs. He is more hesitant when being walked alone.
He is great with other dogs and gets along well with his canine foster siblings. In fact, Keddol is happiest when he has other dogs around. He has a med-level energy: playful outdoors but pretty chill indoors. He likes to sit close by and quietly keep his foster mom company while she works from home. So far, she has not heard him bark. He has shown no destructive behaviors; food aggression; or any possessive or protective behaviors. Keddol is a very mellow, sweet, and easy-going boy.
When it comes to people, Keddol is a little bit shy around strangers, but it doesn’t take much time for him to warm up to them. He just needs a little bit of time to get to know them. Keddol is a very snuggly, gentle, and affectionate boy. His favorite thing is to go out with his fur friends and humans, and have some playtime outdoors.
He is currently working on potty training, although he is making improvements with his training.
Keddol’s ideal adopter is someone who is retired or works from home; a household where someone is usually home to spend time with him. At the top of his wish list, he would like to have another friendly dog sibling; he is happier and more confident when he is with other fur friends.
