Jeju is one of the dogs rescued in Jeju Island, Korea a few weeks ago. The dog owner got sick and was not able to keep the dogs. So he tried to sell them to a dog meat seller. Someone living in Jeju contacted us and asked for help and that was how Jeju’s family got rescued. But it wasn’t the end of the story. Jeju Island is far from where our current shelter is located. We had to find a way to bring the dogs to Ilsan, north-west of Seoul. Thankfully, Changyui Hong, volunteer truck driver, transported them to Incheon. It was two days of a long drive.

Jeju is a mother of five puppies. She loves her babies but also loves going for a walk and taking a little break from her puppies. She is an absolutely gorgeous dog who is very affectionate and friendly. Jeju is in NYC now looking for her forever home.
