Hyungno was rescued in 2016 with two of his brothers when they were just puppies. The puppies were emancipated and suffered from severe skin issues which took nearly a year to resolve.

All three puppies were lucky enough to find foster homes in Korea, and Hyungno’s foster ended up adopting him. However, circumstances recently changed as their newborn baby is unexpectedly allergic to him, which meant Hyungno needed to be returned to the shelter after 5 years of living with his family.

Hyungno is very sweet and obedient with people that he knows, but is a little shy in the beginning and takes time to warm up. He has a quiet personality indoors and is house-trained. His favorite activities are hanging out with his humans and going out for walks.

When it comes to other dogs, Hyungno is selective. He is not a fan of high-energy, energetic dogs, or dogs who are dominant in personality.

His ideal home is one that has experience with dogs and has the time to spend with him during the day. He would enjoy an active home where he can enjoy walks and hikes and spend time outdoors. His new home should understand that although Hyungno has settled in well, the changes will likely be confusing and impactful for him after spending 5 years with his family, and it may take him additional time to adjust.

The adoption fee for Hyungno is $ 560 CAD/$ 560 USD.
