Update: Hooni has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

  • Note: Hooni will arrive in Vancouver on April 25, 2022.

This little champ was abandoned from a puppy mill operation. His life was only worth the puppies he could father, and even then they didn’t think he was deserving of even the basic necessities of life. When he could no longer be used as a pawn in their profit scheme, they abandoned him (other dogs may not be so lucky, and are sold off at auction to the meat trade).

When Hooni came to us he was skinny and malnourished. He tested positive for heartworm and was dragging his back legs a result of living in deplorable conditions for nearly 10 years. He must have been in so much pain, because his teeth were riddled in abscess and infection. But Hooni is a survivor. Look at him now! He has conquered heartworms, healed from his dental surgery (where 9 teeth needed to be extracted), and excelled at his physiotherapy (he now walks with no issue).

Hooni is very gentle, sweet and friendly and gets along well with other dogs. He is also very affectioante to people: obedient and snuggly.  He may be 10 years old, but he’s worked so hard and made it through it all. Look out world! Hooni 2.0 has arrived!

The adoption fee for Hooni is $460 CAD ($360USD).

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
