Update: Hamish has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!
Hamish is one of the puppies rescued in Jeju Island, Korea a few weeks ago. The dog owner got sick and was not able to keep the dogs. So he tried to sell them to a dog meat seller. Someone living in Jeju contacted us and asked for help and that was how Hamish’s family got rescued. But it wasn’t the end of the story. Jeju Island is far from where our current shelter is located. We had to find a way to bring the dogs to Ilsan, north west of Seoul. Thankfully, Changyui Hong, volunteer truck driver, transported them to Incheon. It was two days of a long drive.
Hamish is such an adorable sweet puppy. Cheerful and very sweet. He is around 6 month old and we think that he will remain probably less than 13lb.
