Update: Gamja has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

In the fall of 2014, Gamja and his best friend, Goguma, were rescued from a horrible hoarding situation in Korea.

Goguma, the beautiful white bull terrier, was adopted last year by a wonderful family in the US. Gamja, on the other hands, is left alone behind. It was very difficult for Gamja to lose his best friend. He didn’t eat or play as much as he used to. He stayed inside his kennel most of the time. Of course that is not good for the poor baby. After some discussion with shelter staff, his god mother decided to send him to a training center. From there he learned how to calm down and be obedient, and more importantly how to be happy again.

Todays Pitbull still has a stigma as aggressive and violent. But it won’t take a long time for people to fall in love with Gamja. He is such a lovely, gentle, and faithful dog. Great with other dogs and also people. It is time for Gamja to have a second chance.

  • We take an application for Gamja only from people living in Vancouver, Canada. Gamja means ‘popato’ in Korean.
