Ellie will arrive in Vancouver on July 11th.

Ellie was found on the streets in 2020 spring and lived in Milyang shelter until she was adopted. However the adoption didn’t last long. The adopter returned Ellie back to the shelter because she had heartworms (she is heartworm-free now).  Soon after Ellie’s name appeared on the euthanization list. Luckily, she was rescued before being euthanised. Since then Ellie has been living in a boarding house with other dogs.

Ellie is very affectionate with humans as well and is very obedient. She is very well behaved indoors and does not bark or display signs of separation anxiety. Her friendly and submissive personality with both humans and other dogs would make her a great addition to a home looking for a second dog.
