Dindin

Details:

  • Status: Adopted
  • Breed: Welsh corgi mix
  • Age: 1 years, 3 months
  • Gender: Female
  • Spay/Neuter: Yes
  • Size: Medium
  • Weight: 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Location: Vancouver

Update: Dindin has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

*Note: Dindin is in foster care in Vancouver, BC.

Dindin was rescued from a mother dog and her three puppies from a small village last winter. They were cold, hungry, and struggling to survive. Since then, they have been living with other dogs at our partner boarding house.

Having grown up with other dogs and the shelter volunteers, Dindin is very comfortable around humans and other dogs. She has a sweet and mellow personality, and is affectionate and friendly with people and her fellow shelter mates.

Upon arriving to her foster home in Vancouver, Dindin has settled in more quickly than we expected. She walked out of her crate right away and was curiously exploring her new environment. Dindin has had a great sleep and appetite eating and drinking thus far. She has also accepting pets since arriving and was able to go on a walk.

Her adopters should be prepared to be patient and supportive of her next  transition. Although she has been doing amazing, more changes in people and environment could be confusing for her. They should also be committed to continuing her socialization with people and other dogs.

Her ideal adopter is with a family living a relaxed lifestyle in a quiet neighborhood.
