Update: Denden has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Denden was rescued with her mom and sister, Dindin and Dondon, from a small village last winter as strays. They were struggling to keep warm and find food and shelter. Since their rescue, they have been living at our partner boarding house with other dogs.

Like her sisters, Denden does well with the other dogs at the shelter. She is social and playful with them. She also enjoys getting pets and head scratches from the volunteers. However, she is a bit more reserved than her sister and can be a bit timid when meeting new people. After given the chance to warm up and get to know them, Denden is very sweet and affectionate, and craves their attention.

Denden is still young and the boarding house and volunteers are all she’s ever known. Due to her limited life experiences, moving to a new home with new people and an unfamiliar environment may be a big adjustment for her. Her adopters should be prepared to be patient and supportive of her transition. They should also be committed to continuing her socialization with people and other dogs.

Her ideal home is one with a family living a laid back and relaxed lifestyle, in a house with a secure yard in a quiet neighborhood.
