Demi was rescued from a highkill shelter in winter, 2015. Since then, she has been living in the shelter for the past 7 years without any prospects of adoption. The shelter that Demi lives in is very humble; there are few resources to afford her enrichment. She has to stay in her kennel most of the time, which is outdoors. We hope we can find her home in Canada soon so she does not have to endure her 8th cold winter where she only has straw from bedding/warmth, and plastic tarp to guard her kennel from the wind.

Demi is sweet and obedient to the shelter staff and volunteers: she is so happy when she gets attention. She is great with her longtime roomate, Gordon, and some of the gentle friendly dogs in the shelter. But she is not a fan of hyper or bossy dogs.

We don’t want Demi to stay in the shelter any longer than she has been. No one in Korea wanted to give Demi a chance, but we know the perfect family is out there for her, waiting to shower her with warmth and love.

Demi’s adoption fee is $460 CAD ($360USD).
