Update: Charile has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Charlie was rescued from the streets in Paju, Korea last year. He was roaming around the village searching for food. After he was rescued, he lived in a boarding house with sixty dogs until he left for Canada.

Charlie was adopted by a wonderful family 3 month ago in Toronto. But Charlie has been struggling with new surroundings; cars, elevator, construction noises, strangers and dogs on the streets. He is good with the family and very affectionate, but has been extremely scared of outdoor world. We decided that it is best for Charlie to find a quiet home in country.

According to his previous family, Charlie is super smart, eager to please, affectionate, cuddly, playful and sweet. He loves to spend time learning new tricks and knows many already. He has lots of energy and enthusiasm. As he suffers from “stranger danger”, he will thrive in a quiet and predictable environment with an enclosed yard where he can play and burn of his energy. Currently he is very fearful/anxious/aggressive/loud when confronted with sudden noise, new people and dogs.

The ideal person/family would be someone with patience, love, leadership and also lives in a quiet and predictable environment. A single person or a couple who works from home or is retired with no kids or other pets around will bring out the best in him.
