NOTE: Due to COVID19 and a shortage of flight volunteers, the dog will be transported by cargo flights, which will cost over $4,000 CAD. Free Korean Dogs would appreciate a contribution of $1,000 from future family towards the cargo fee to help with transportation and costs once arranged. The total fee for Byulee is $1,960 CAD ($960 CAD for adoption+$1,000 CAD for cargo flight).

Byulee was born from a stray dog right after the mother dog was rescued. Byulee and her brother were adopted quickly as they were cute little Labrador Retriever puppies. But unlike the promise, Byulee’s adopter kept them outside her house as guard dogs: they were chained and left neglected. During the time, Byulee gave birth, but her puppies were all killed by local stray dogs. When the adopter got pregnant, she surrendered Byulee back to the rescuer. Currently, she lives in a boarding house with other dogs.

Although Byulee went through a lot, she is always very friendly and sweet to everyone. She has the Labrador Retriever characteristics: social, friendly, obedient, and outgoing.

The ideal adopter is someone who has experience with large dogs and is retired or works from home. Byulee’s favorite activities are playing with other dogs; going for a walk; snuggling and smooching people. Byulee is a very loving and affectionate dog who will make a great companion.

Byul means star in Korean.
