* NOTE: Due to recent flight/travel restrictions resulting from Covid-19, it will take longer for your adopted dogs to get to you. Please only submit an application if you are able to wait until a flight volunteer can be secured. Please note we currently do not have a definitive timeline.

Our regular method of transporting dogs using flight volunteers has drastically decreased due to current flight/travel restrictions. An alternative, quicker option of flying via cargo can be made available, although at a greater financial cost. The cost can range from $1000 CAD to $2600 CAD depending on the size and weight of the dog, airline, and destination city. Dogs traveling via cargo will be able to arrive sooner as they are not dependent on travelers to bring them.

Bawoo was found on the streets in Sungnam city early this year. He was trapped and sent to a city pound but soon after that, his name appeared on the euthanasia list. It was very lucky that he was saved by a local animal rights activity. Currently, Bawoo lives with a foster family who has a child and small dogs in Korea.

Bawoo is a very gentle, submissive and friendly dog; he loves to be around people and is very obedient and affectionate. He is also very quiet; it is very rare to hear his barking. When he wants something (such as petting or attention) he wines like a puppy. Bawoo is also very smart; he learned new things (commands and etiquettes) very quickly and always eagered to please the foster. Bawoo is also house-trained.

When Bawoo was rescued he had many scars on his body; it seemed that he was attacked by other dogs when living on the streets. Bawoo is still scared of mid to large size dogs; he wines and tries to hide.

The ideal adopter is someone who has experience with dogs and lives a relaxing life style. A quiet home with no cats or mid-large size dogs will be great.
