Arri was abandoned in a rural farm area and abused by local people. When she was discovered, she was already fully pregnant. Arri gave birth to five puppies. Some of them died and some have been adopted. Arri is a traumatized dog who is afraid of strangers and physical contact. Arri is, however, a very smart and sweet dog. She follows her foster parent around the house and waits at the bathroom door when her foster parent is inside. Arri greets her foster parent at the front door wagging her tail when her foster parent comes home from work and sleeps beside her bed. Arri is a quiet dog who is house trained.

The ideal adopter would be a family with a lot of spare time, patience and kindness and also who knows how to communicate with traumatized dogs. It would be very helpful if the family already has a couple of happy dogs. The adopter must have a fenced backyard so Arri can experience outdoor life. Arri is afraid of wearing a collar yet.
