Update: Amie has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Amie and her son, Getty, were picked up as stray after being found roaming on the streets in Paju, Korea. They were with another male adult dog who appeared to be a father of Getty. Unfortunately, the father dog ran away and only Amie and Getty were rescued. In 2017, Getty was adopted by a wonderful couple in NYC, but Amie had no luck.

Recently, Amie’s roomate, Pakie, who lived in the shelter for 7 years got adopted in Vancouver. Now Amie is left alone again. We really want to find her forever home. She is still nervous to go out to the streets (once she is out, she is so happy) and yes, she has a lot to learn. However, Amie is a very loving, friendly, kind and sweet girl. With a little bit of help and training, she will become a great furry companion.

The ideal adopter is someone who has experience with dogs and lives in a house in a quiet neighborhood.

The adoption fee for Amie is $360 USD ($460 CAD).
