Update: Alkong has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Alkong and her sister Dalkong were abandoned at a highkill shelter when they were puppies. Luckily, they were rescued by a shelter volunteer and moved to a boarding house.

Although they are blind, Alkong and Dalkong are perfectly healthy and require no surgery. Alkong is a happy and loving puppy. She loves to play, cuddle and get attention.
Because Alkong is blind, she needs a little bit more of a hands-on approach with someone who is available throughout the day to keep her company or someone who has one or two gentle dogs to help guide her.

In the beginning, Alkong will need a secure environment like a large play pen or a puppy proof room, as she needs to adjust to her environment. She is pee pad trained and will consistently go on a pee pad.

She is extremely affectionate and will follow her human’s voice to try and spend time with them. With love and patience, Alkong would be an amazing companion dog.

Alkong’s adoption fee is $280.

Vaccination Details
