Adopt Coco

September 24, 2015 by EK Park, Executive Director 5 Comments

Coco was adopted in October in Korea. Thank you.
Coco is a beautiful two year old female dog who weights 12kg.

Coco’s story

Coco was born two years ago outside Seoul. Her mama and papa were raised for meat by a neglectful and abusive owner. When Coco and her four siblings were puppies they were fed with human food waste that was very salty and spicy. Shortly after she was born her papa and three siblings were killed for meat by the owner. The mama and two puppies, including Coco, were given to the next door neighbor so they could avoid being killed. But later the owner came back to kill and eat the rest of the dogs. It was lucky that Jinoak heard about it. When she visited the neighbor’s house, the two poor puppies were eating left over dog meat. She had to rescue them immediately. Coco stayed at a foster home for 3 weeks and then was adopted. But unfortunately the adopter had financial problems and had to let Coco go. The poor girl was sent to a small private shelter in Daegu where she lives now.

Coco has been waiting for her forever home for over a year. Although she’s had a tough life, she is very sociable, sweet, comfortable with indoor life and toilet trained. Coco was spayed, vaccinated and is perfectly healthy. She is more than ready for her forever home.

Hi I would gladly donate some money towards Cocos airfare to Uk for Judith I have a question do the dogs have to be tested via a blood test for rabies before entering the UK also don’t they have to be wormed and microchipped. If you don’t get her adopted I would consider her thanks from Kaye.

      Hi Kaye,
That’s very kind of you. Yes, she has to be tested and it takes for 90 days. We replied to Judith to submit an adoption application first. We are looking for the best home for Coco. She already went through enough.

I hope Coco is adopted into a safe and loving home in Korea. I felt very sad after reading her tragic
story. The monster who ate her family will be punished for sure. There is a hell for him to go after life.
He will be burn by very hot fire forever.
As for Coco, who ever adopted her is very lucky and please be nice and take good care of Coco.
EK Park, I want to thank you so much for saving all the lovely, voiceless dogs. We are their voice and we must fight against the dog meat trade all over Asia.
